On the evening of May 23, 2006 the Reverend Gregory Kerr-Wilson was ordained a bishop by the Metropolitan of Rupert's Land, Archbishop John Clarke of Peace River, Alberta. The newly ordained bishop was then installed as the eleventh Bishop of Qu'Appelle. The service took place at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Regina.
