BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Board of Trustees administers the investment portfolio of the Diocese. The Diocese has two consolidated trust funds: the General Fund and the Harding-Jackson Fund. The General Fund comprises many Diocesan and Parish Trusts while the Harding-Jackson Fund was created as a separate fund in 1975 from the proceeds of the sale of Diocesan property to the Provincial Government. Details of the General Fund Trusts are listed on Schedules 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the audited financial statements of the Diocese, a copy of which is forwarded annually to each parish. All securities owned by the Diocese are either held in a safety deposit box in the main branch of the Royal Bank of Canada in Regina or held in safekeeping by a broker licensed to do business in Saskatchewan. All investments are made in the name of the Synod and funds are invested in accordance with the Trustees Act of Saskatchewan. Any member of the Diocese is welcome to view a list of the securities presently in our portfolio.
